Gentle in-home comfort care for ageing and unwell pets.
We provide hospice and palliative care support and peaceful home euthanasia for pets and families on the Central Coast.
Because every pet deserves gentle care in
life’s final chapter.
Why choose
Comfy Critters Home Vet?
Caring for an ageing or unwell pet can be really hard, and it’s not always clear when to reach out for extra help. That’s where we step in. We visit you at home, where your pet feels safest, and together we work out what they need right now.
Sometimes that means palliative care after a new diagnosis or as your pet slows down with age. Sometimes it is hospice care when symptoms are harder to manage. And sometimes it is gentle planning for a peaceful goodbye.
Wherever you are on this path, our visits are calm, unhurried and focused on what matters most: comfort, dignity and love for your pet, and reassurance for you.

-
Comfort & palliative care
Support that focuses on quality of life - easing pain and discomfort, anxiety and other symptoms so your pet can feel safe and comfortable at home.
-
Quality of life consults
Gentle conversations to help you understand how your pet is really going, what changes to look out for, and what the journey ahead looks like.
-
Aftercare coordination
We can help with cremation arrangements, transport and memorial options, giving you space to grieve while we handle the practicalities. We also offer gentle grief resources and support so you don’t have to walk this path alone.
-
Holistic therapies
Care for the whole pet, not just their condition. We may suggest gentle options like nutrition support, supplements, CBD oil or lifestyle changes alongside traditional medicine to support comfort, mobility and wellbeing.
-
Telehealth consultations
Sometimes it helps just to talk things through. A telehealth call lets you check in, ask questions, and feel supported between visits. Whether it’s about changes you’ve noticed or just needing a listening ear, we’re here so you never feel alone in this journey.
Meet Dr Allie
Hi, I’m Allie, the vet behind Comfy Critters (and this is my sweet cat, Ori).
My heart is in caring for senior pets and the families who love them. I know how hard it can be to face changes, make tough decisions, and prepare for goodbyes.
I believe every pet and their family deserves comfort, dignity and love right to the very end.
Before becoming a vet, I worked as a teacher, ranger and science communicator. Whatever the role, it has always been about animals, people and connection. Now I bring that same curiosity and care into veterinary medicine, blending clinical knowledge with compassion and a deep respect for the bond we share with our pets.
I created Comfy Critters to give families more than medicine. My goal is to offer time, guidance and gentle support through one of the most meaningful chapters of life with your pet.
“Despite the sadness, our goodbye was unexpectedly beautiful. Allie treated Peppa with tenderness and gave us time, kindness and peace.”
“She was the light in a very dark moment. Dr Allie cared not just for our beloved pug, but for our whole family.”
