End of Life

I understand the profound love and connection you share with your cherished pet.
Saying goodbye is one of the most difficult decisions you will ever face.

During this emotional time, I am here to offer gentle compassionate support and care, ensuring your beloved companion can pass peacefully and with dignity in the comfort of their own home.

Why Choose In-Home Euthanasia?

Comfort and Familiarity: Your pet will relax in a safe and familiar environment, surrounded by the people and things they love and trust, helping to reduce fear, stress, and anxiety of unfamiliar places.

Convenience: Avoid the stress of travel and clinic visits during this tender time. I will come to you when you are ready, allowing for a more gentle and tranquil experience.

Privacy: You can invite your family to come together to share in celebrating and honouring your pet’s life. Together you can grieve and express emotions freely in the privacy of your own home, away from the public setting of a clinic.

Personalised attention: I offer a gentle loving goodbye, giving you all the time you need to say goodbye in a peaceful, unhurried way.

Peaceful Transition: I will take great care to make your pet’s transition as serene and painless as possible, ensuring they feel only love and peace.

Aftercare: If you choose aftercare for your pet, I will organise all aspects of this process to give you peace of mind.

My Process

Consultation: I will begin with a heartfelt conversation to understand your pet’s condition, answer any questions, and help you make an informed decision.

Scheduling: Once you feel ready, I will schedule a time that best suits you and your family. I will discuss your requests for aftercare and organise for the necessary paperwork to be completed.

In-home visit: On the day of your choosing, I will arrive and make sure everyone is comfortable. I will perform a health check on your pet and make them as comfortable and pain-free as they can be - whether that’s in their bed (or yours!), in the gentle sunshine, or on your lap. If you would like music playing or a special candle burning, together we will set the scene for a beautiful farewell.

Time for sleep: To help them relax and be more comfortable, I will give your pet some medication to drift deeply into sleep. You will be right there with them as they welcome sleep.

Gentle farewell: When your pet is deeply asleep and you are ready, I will give another medication to help them gently pass.

Aftercare: I am partnered with Patch and Purr Cremation who offer a range of aftercare services, including cremation and memorial options, to help you honour and remember your pet in a way that feels right to you.
